The RNB Pwr-Nox USB Power Pack has been a best seller, with on-board supplimentary battery power for your detector. But it was designed only to fit the original Equinox Series metal detectors by attaching the top end via the arm cup screw. The new generation of Minelab Equinox and the Manticore don't have this screw, so require another means to attach the power pack to the detector's stem. This is where our Adpator Block comes in. The adaptor will screw onto the end of the power pack, which can then be firmly clipped onto the stem of your metal detector. The design is super simple and compact adding minimal weight and bulk to the unit. The nut & screw are stainless steel, so no concerns about corrosion in salty conditions.
This adaptor has been designed to fit the RNB Pwr-Nox to the Minelab Equinox 700, 900 and Manticore metal detecors, but it may work for other USB powered detectors with a round stem of approx 22mm diameter.
Note that the adaptor is reversible, depending of your detector model. For the Manicore, mount it with the sloped side facing outward. For the Equinox mount with the sloped side facing inward. Price is for adaptor block only. The power pack is sold separately.
