The all new second generation 15” All Terrain coil replaces the hugely successful 'WOT' coils for the Minelab FBS & BBS metal detectors. The rugged new spoked design is both stronger and lighter. Depth performance is up to 30% over standard FBS coils with negligible loss of sensitivity and its response to smaller targets is very extremely good.
The coil is fully waterproof. Gloss-black epoxy resin is used to seal the coil windings inside and provide its water proof characteristics and its robustness. The housings are made from durable ABS plastic which offers long life and will endure extreme conditions like salt water and wet fields. When hunting in the water it has negative buoyancy which helps the coil ‘sink’ rather than float so it is perfect for wading out at low tide.
The original coil WOT coil was hugely popular with the Coin & Relic hunters around the world and we have no doubt that this handsome mkII version with be the same.
