A hard back book about the Tokens that were used in the 17th Century in the County of Lincolnshire. Tokens appeared around the mid 17th Century as a substitute for small denomination coins which were in short supply.
The book details the 58 settlements in Lincolnshire which had their own tokens and each of the traders within the place who had tokens issued in their name. Each token is illustrated with full colour photographs and a description of the token, with information about the trader.
